Hand knitted chicken egg cosies.
These cute egg cosies make great gifts for Easter or decoration for the Easter table. Can be filled with a chocolate egg or used to keep a boiled egg warm on top of an eggcup.
The design was inspired by the egg cosies often knitted by Grandmas for childhood Easter celebrations. These retro decorations can be brought out every year to bring fun to Easter celebrations or used day to day for your breakfast eggs.
The chickens are hand knitted in London using high quality Lambswool spun in Scotland for a soft luxury feel. The pieces are finished by hand with crochet and embroidery detail. All the wool is natural so it is a sustainable product. The base colour options are white, oatmeal, light brown and dark brown and all chickens come with with red and orange details.
The chicken will hold a medium or large chicken egg or the Crème egg type chocolate egg. These are not provided with the cosy.
It measures 8.5cm at the highest point and 8cm wide.
